The conference takes place at the Santa Barbara Beach Resort in Curaçao. We have negotiated special rates with the conference hotel.

Prices include breakfast for 2 and basic wifi for up to 2 devices but do not include taxes and service charge, a daily Maid Charge, or a one-time Bellman Charge. Accompanying children under 3 years of age are free of charge. Special rates are available for children from age 3 to 12, to be determined at the time of reservation. To cover incidental expenses, guests are expected to leave a valid credit card or cash deposit at the time of check-in.
These rates are run-of-house, which means that the room category is determined by availability at the time of check-in.
We have blocked 50 rooms for conference attendees that will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis, plus a "soft block" of 30 rooms that may be released earlier. Additional rooms are on a space-available basis. You are encouraged to make your reservation as early as possible and no later than December 21, 2017 in order to ensure the rate and availability. After the cutoff date any remaining rooms in the block that have not been reserved will be released by the hotel for sale to other guests. The group rate might not be offered after this date even if there is room availability. February/March is high season in the Caribbean and the hotel may be fully booked.

Update: Although the contracted cutoff date has passed, the hotel is still honoring the group rate on a space-available basis, but it's uncertain for how long. The online reservation link will stop working on January 15, 2018, but you might still be able to book at the group rate after that date by calling the hotel directly (it's also worth checking with them if the online reservation site shows no availabilty on dates you're looking for).
